Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Emma Wright earned her Bachelor of Arts from Western University in 2020 before moving to the West Coast to complete her Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in 2023. Throughout her time at UBC, she was involved with both Pro Bono Students Canada and the Law Students Legal Advice Program, where she provided legal advice and assistance to low-income community members.
Emma articled with a small firm in Vancouver, gaining extensive experience in estate litigation, including drafting pleadings, attending discoveries, and appearing on a 13-day trial at the Supreme Court of British Columbia. She was called to the British Columbia bar in 2024 before moving to Moncton, where she now practices as an associate lawyer at Actus Law. Emma’s practice focuses on estate planning and estate litigation.
In her free time, Emma enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her 2 cats.
