Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, and a proud, lifelong resident of Atlantic Canada, Chelsey obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a major in sociology from Mount Allison University in 2017. She pursued a legal education and earned a Juris Doctor degree from Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law in 2022.
During her time in law school, she volunteered as a Pro Bono Student for the East Coast Prison Justice Society, worked as a research assistant at the university and served as a student representative on the Faculty of Law’s Bursary and Scholarship Committee. She was also selected to represent the Schulich School of Law at the 2022 Gale Cup, a national criminal law moot court competition held between all law schools in Canada.
After graduating from law school, Chelsey articled with Actus Law Droit prior to joining the firm as a full-time associate following her call to the New Brunswick bar in June 2023.
In her practice, she concentrates mainly in the areas of corporate, commercial, real estate, and wills and estates.
