Jocelyne is a fluently bilingual lawyer native of Kent County. She completed her Bachelor of Law at the Université de Moncton in 2002. After several years as a family law lawyer with the New Brunswick Legal Aid Services Commission, Jocelyne joined private practice in 2014. Previous to that, Jocelyne also worked as legal counsel for the former Family Mediation Program offered by the Province of New Brunswick.

Jocelyne’s practice consists of family law, an area in which she’s gained tremendous expertise thanks to past experiences with the New Brunswick Legal Aid Services Commission and the private practice sector. Jocelyne thrives under pressure and relishes a challenge, so a career involving negotiation, litigation and mediation is a natural fit for her.

Since joining the private sector, Jocelyne has also gained an expertise in the area of surrogacy and fertility law, for which she has been invited as a speaker at the national level. She continues to help families deal with legal issues surrounding these life changing family decisions, and serves clients throughout the Province of New Brunswick, from across Canada, as well as international clients.

Outside of her law practice, Jocelyne keeps busy with activities involving her husband and their three children. She gives back to the community by serving on various committees involving her children. She is currently a member of the CPAÉ committee for the École Dr-Marguerite-Michaud and has volunteered with Public Legal Education and Information Service of New Brunswick (PLEIS-NB). She has also served as a board member as well as a member of the Kent South committee for the Social Pediatric Center of Southeast New Brunswick.
