Native of Lamèque Island, Rachel came to Moncton to pursue her postsecondary education and graduated with her Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in marketing in 2008 and her Bachelor in Law in 2011, both from the Université de Moncton.
Rachel was called to the New Brunswick bar in June 2022 and joined Actus Law Droit in August 2022. Prior to completing her articles in 2022, she gained experience working at the Office of the Rentalsman and working as a Legal Assistant in a local law firm.
Rachel has been involved in her community in the past several years. During her law studies, she served as the Academic Vice-President of the Fédération des Étudiants et Étudiantes de l’Université de Moncton, over the 2009-2010 term and sat on the disciplinary committee of the Université de Moncton in 2010. She previously served as a member of the parent school committee for École Champlain in Moncton, and she currently sits on the administrative board of Club 6-12, a local non-profit after-school care service in Moncton.
Rachel enjoys outdoors activities with her family and spending time with friends. She lives in Irishtown with her husband and three kids.
