DIANNE CHURCHILL – associate

Dianne joined Actus Law as a full-time associate after being called to the New Brunswick bar in June 2015. She articled with the firm for one year prior to that. In her practice, she concentrates in the areas of corporate commercial law, real estate, and wills and estates.

A native of Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Dianne began her Bachelor of Arts degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland. In 2011, she completed her Bachelor of Arts with Distinction (psychology) at Crandall University and earned her Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick (UNB) in 2014.

While at Crandall, she was a member of the dean’s list during every semester and received a number of scholarships and distinctions. During law school, she was a member of the 2013 UNB Law Laskin Moot Court Team, worked in UNB’s Gerard V. La Forest Law Library and volunteered with the UNB branch of Pro Bono Students Canada. She also volunteered with the UNB Law School’s charity auction and sat on the Teaching Excellence Awards committee.

Dianne is a licensed pilot, having earned her private and commercial licences and Multi/IFR endorsements from the Moncton Flight College (MFC). She has been a multiple recipient of MFC’s Francis Grondin Female Pilot of the Year Award. In the past, she has also worked extensively in hospitality industry management and volunteered with the Red Cross.

Dianne loves music and the arts.  She is a member of the Greater Moncton Chorale and serves as president of the Codiac Concert Band. She also enjoys travel, good food, good wine and time spent with family and friends.
