sara sears – associate

A native of Memramcook, Sara graduated in 2012 with her Juris Doctor degree from the Université de Moncton. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Université Sainte-Anne, a graduate diploma in Community Economic Development from Concordia University and a certificate in Spanish History and Literature from Universidad de Colima.

Throughout her academic career, Sara received several bursaries and awards. She was also very involved in extracurricular activities.

Previous to her legal career, she worked internationally as a French immersion and English as a second language (ESL) professor. She currently sits on the board of directors of YWCA Moncton and Crossroads for Women Inc., and has been a committed volunteer for many education and community organizations. Sara is fluently bilingual in French and English, as well as proficient in Spanish.

At Actus Law Droit, Sara concentrates in the areas of corporate/commercial, real estate and wills and estates law. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
