KELSEY CARSON – associate
A native of Colpitts Settlement, New Brunswick, Kelsey obtained a Bachelor Arts degree with Honours in History and Sociology (2011) and a Juris Doctor (2014) from the University of New Brunswick. Throughout her academic career, Kelsey was the recipient of several scholarships and bursaries, including the Lord Beaverbrook Scholarship, the UNB Residency Prize and the Marie La Forest Scholarship.
Kelsey was called to the New Brunswick Bar in June 2015 after completing a year of articling with Cox & Palmer in Moncton. She joined Actus Law Droit in April 2017 after twenty-one months of practice in Sussex, New Brunswick. In her practice, she focuses on the areas of corporate commercial law and real estate, family law as well as wills and estates.
She is currently a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of New Brunswick, and the Moncton Area Lawyers Association.
Being from rural New Brunswick, Kelsey feels it is important to contribute to her community. She has been a volunteer with the Salisbury Community Days Committee since 2009. She also volunteers at her church and with the annual Walk for Muscular Dystrophy.
Kelsey lives in Colpitts Settlement with her husband and dog. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing, painting, cooking, back road drives and spending time with her family and friends.
